The following video presentation touches on a number of facts about the origins of the Trinity and how the doctrine is not related to inspired scripture. Below that is a short commentary on Trinitarian origins and shortcomings as compared to inspired scripture.
Who is a judge of the person who sincerely devotes him or herself to follow Christ? Let God judge the man or woman who, hearing and reading the ten commandments, for example, sincerely desires to obey those commandments. One may look at the sincere follower of Christ and conclude the person is not obeying those commandments as they should, but let God be the judge.
But, what of the Trinity? Can a person read his or her Bible and find the command to believe in God as a Trinity? Is a Trinity even discussed in the Bible? Exhaust yourself with study into the matter, and you will come up empty. Instead, you will have to study into religious, philosophical, and political human history to discover the introduction, acceptance, and imposition of the Trinity doctrine upon what is called Christianity, today. Yet, mainstream Christianity condemns the man or woman who would deny the Trinity. It is an extra-biblical doctrine, introduced two centuries after the decease of all the Apostles, used specifically and purposefully to judge you as a "true" Christian. It would not matter, when all was said and done, what other doctrines you accepted, even all other doctrines of the mainstream church. It would not matter, when all was said and done, what tradition you accepted, even all traditions of the mainstream church. If you do not accept the doctrine of the Trinity, you are considered a heretic worthy of condemnation. Historically, people paid with their lives for refusing to accept the doctrine, whether they called themselves Christian or not. And, presently, in the collective mind of the church, you are condemned. They have consigned you to eternal damnation for rejecting this man-made doctrine.
We read in Acts...
Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.(emphasis added)
Note in verse 12, it is the name of Jesus, and only the name of Jesus of Nazareth, by which we MUST be saved; not the Trinity. You may say, "Well, of course!" Yet, to reject the Trinity doctrine in the eyes of mainstream Christianity is to be condemned to eternal damnation.
In truth, you will find that the main identifier of FALSE Christianity is not found in whether a person completely understands, though sincerely trying, all of scripture (After all, are we not GROWING in grace and knowledge?), but, instead, in adoption of doctrine that does not originate in the Bible, and, with the acceptance of that doctrine, the rejection and condemnation of all who will not embrace it.
Revealed in scripture is a church that calls itself Christian but behaves the harlot, instead of the chaste virgin. This church, in prophecy, even takes the lives of true believers, those who follow God in both spirit and truth (John 4:23-24), the truth being the word of God (John 17:17; Colossians 1:5; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Let us do our best to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), worshipping the Father and Jesus Christ in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). It is by their Holy Spirit we are given the ability to accomplish such a task.
A Powerful Revelation!
When you begin to appreciate the nature and revealed composition of the Godhead as is expressed by the Bible, that understanding leads to a whole new view of God's word as it pertains to His proposed relationship with you. God is adding to the Family of God just as the word of God emphasizes over and over again. God is not a closed "system", as the Trinity concludes, but a dynamic family known to the readers of the Bible as Father and Son, creative in such a miraculous way as to provide sonship to those who love the way and will of God. This is all done by that shared Holy Spirit revealed in the Bible, able even to be imparted as earnest to fleshly man (2 Cor. 5:5; Eph. 1:1214), those who would lay down their lives for God and God's good news for all mankind; any who will believe and follow Jesus the Christ.

Hi Admin There is a very big difference between the words used in Exodus 3 v 14 and those which appear in John Chapter 8.In Exodus we have 'ego eimi o on' which means 'I am the being' or 'I am the existing one'The words used in John Chapter 8 are very commonly used words 'ego eimi' or I an the one'You will note that in John 8 v 28 we have the same words ' When you lift up the Son of Man you willrealise that I AM and that I can do nothing of my own, but I only do what my Father taught me"The words I AM have been capitalised for theological purposes as some scholarly bibles observe. The I AM in John 8v28 is certainly NOT YHWH!These are indeed difficult matters !My very best wishes. God Bless John.
And what is the result of your reasoning, John? If God would make a god-man to save us, why didn't God just make god-man beings from the beginning? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. The type of person you are describing is a robot, the very thing God is not wanting to create. God wants to create sons and daughters who willingly choose only God's way.If all it took for man not to sin from the beginning was to be conceived of the Holy Spirit, then why didn't God do that in the first place?Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, who is and who was and who is to come, the beginning and the end. Before Abraham was, I AM.
Hi Admin I note that you do not accept that Christ is a created being. If we say that Christ is the 'first-born' then we can imply that there was a time when he 'was not'. These are very deep matters and are best discussed in specialised fora - such as Trinities.org. I note that your 'take 'on Philippians 2 is the 'standard' one - yet is is so clear that the verses you note are refrring to the 'second Adam' who, unlike the 'first adam' did not seek to be equal to God ( Genesis 3v5) but emptied imself (of hi human ego) and became obedient even unto death on a cross. God Bless John
Let's suffice it to say, John, that, though we may heartily agree that God is not a Trinity, we are in complete disagreement as to who or what God is.I AM spoke to Moses and Jesus claims to be the same I AM. Your conclusion takes totally out of context Jesus' interaction with the Jews in that passage. Though Jesus purposely spoke in parables at times so people would not understand, this was not a parable. This was a "truly, truly" statement of assurance.
Yasen I think that it is important to understand that the scriptures show that God is the Father in every case.Christ says that his God is His Father John 20 v 17 - and that the same being is also our God and Father.WE have now answered the question, who is Christ's God !Who did Christ pray to ? His Father Who did Christ tell us to pray to - ? our Father.Do not worship a God which is a product of philosophical speculation by the early church fathers. Worship no other God than the one Christ served and worshipped!God Bless John
Yasen Nice hearing from you! Regarding Matthew 4 vs 5-7 in which Christ says to the tempter 'thou shall not put the Lord thy God to the test- everything that Christ did or said was by the power of the Lord God Almighty. If Christ had thrown himself off the mountain , He would only have been savd by His Fathers power. In John 17v5 Christ refers to God saying 'the glory I had with you before the world was. Christ was only refering to the fact that He was The Messiah and as such had lways existed as a 'plan' in Gods mind.In John 8 v 58 'before Abraham was I AM' The Greek wors for I AM are 'ego eimi' The mean "I am he ' or 'I am the one' Christ was saying that before Abraham came into existence , God had a plan for a Messiah.Hope that helps God Bless John
It should be noted here that this site does not believe Jesus to be a created being, nor does it agree with the unsupported interpretation of the provided scriptures.God is a family, known to be composed of two unique beings, originally called God and the Word, later to be called God the Father and Christ the Son; both of the family of God identified by their unique Spirit, known as the Holy Spirit.Jack and Jill went up the hill, both being from the family of mankind, identified by the spirit that makes them mankind, set apart from the animals. The One who directly worked with the people of faith in the Old Testament, those described in Hebrews 11, is the very one who "emptied Himself" (Phil. 2:5-11) to become our Savior, Jesus Christ. He was not a concept or a forthcoming prophecy. What He did was a concept and forthcoming prophecy to be fulfilled; the prophecy being fulfilled at His death and resurrection.John 1:1-3
Many Christains possess a wrong view of the Trinity. It is time to learn the True Teaching. What I mean is that all of God,(power, authority, glory, Spirit) lives in Christ (not three GODS on three THRONES as people say). A good illustration of this is the Soul and Spirit living in the Body, in man. Does this make you three? No. Just as the Father and Holy Spirit lives in Christ, so does the Spirit and Soul live in Jesus Christ. The Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit represents the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Reason why Jesus Christ is called God is because He is the WORD from God. They are not of the same authority but He is called God because, the Word of God can't be put aside from Him. They are One. We believe that The Father and Holy Spirit never Had a Body but live in Jesus Christ as their body. Think on these things and see that they are true. Philipians 4.8. Scriptural Reading: John 1.1, Genesis 1.26, 11.7, Isaiah 6.8, John 1,2,3,4,5,6,
From the study guide...1. Hebrews:1:5 tells us that Jesus was begotten by His Father. Did He beget Himself?2. In Matthew:22:44, the Father said Jesus would sit at His right hand until His enemies were made His footstool. Was Jesus to sit at His own right hand?3. In Matthew:24:36, when Jesus told His disciples that no one knows the day or hour of His return but the Father only, did He really know but made up an excuse to not tell them?4. In John:14:28, Jesus said His Father was greater than He was. Does this mean He was greater than Himself?5. In John:17:1, Jesus prayed to His Father. Was He praying to Himself?6. In Matthew:27:46, Jesus cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" Had He forsaken Himself?7. In John:20:17, Jesus said He would ascend to the Father after His resurrection. Did He ascend to Himself? These and many others conflict with the three in one concept. Another that comes to mind...1 Cor. 15:20-25
What did the early Christians believe? For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1Timothy 2:5But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Corinthians 8v6Notice how the apostle Paul believes that there is one God and one Lord Jesus. They are two different beings – not part of a trinity. Again we could mention here that the word “trinity” is nowhere to be found in the Bible but mainstream Christianity holds it up as a core doctrine.
